Soaked Sponge is a passive item

Effects

  • +0.5 Fire Rate
  • Isaac can no longer take damage from enemies or hazards in cleared rooms.
    • Isaac can enter curse rooms for free while in a cleared room.
    • Isaac cannot take items surrounded by spikes while in a cleared room.
    • Isaac can no longer take damage from sacrifice spikes.

Interactions

  • A Pound Of Flesh.png A Pound Of Flesh: Avoiding this item is recommended, as Isaac cannot take consumables from the shop since they are surrounded by spikes.
  • Holy Mantle.png Holy Mantle: Holy Mantle shield can still be broken in cleared rooms, even though Isaac himself cannot take damage.
  • Damocles.png Damocles: Soaked Sponge cannot prevent Damocles from killing Isaac.
